Pauline’s Vision

The primary mission of Pauline’s Jewellery Box is to highlight timeless pieces of yesterday’s jewellery, to the delight of today’s jewellery lovers! From engagement rings to cufflinks, the expertise of Pauline Janssen, the founder, has been built up through her prestigious training,

her professional experience in world-renowned institutions and her unconditional love for antique jewellery. A desire to bring jewels of previous centuries back to light.

Pauline’s Journey

After a Bachelor’s degree in Art History at the University of Ghent, a first professional experience at the Louvre and two degrees from prestigious institutions, respectively the GIA* and the GEMA*, Pauline had the chance to join Christie’s and Bonham’s, where her passion for antique jewellery was revealed. Eager to continue her training in the fascinating world of jewellery,

Pauline joined Sotheby’s as Junior Cataloguer of Online Sales in the Jewellery and Watches Department in London. Armed with this precious baggage, she founded Pauline’s Jewellery Box in 2017. Her company now has two boutiques, in Ixelles (BE) and in Mayfair (UK), and an online boutique.
